SunBelt Xpress has an exciting opportunity for a talented Truck Driver Recruiter to join Team SunBelt.
This job is for you if you have strong communication skills, confidence and an understanding of CDL driver recruiting.
You will manage the hiring process from beginning to end. You will be responsible for attracting candidates, evaluating resumes, scheduling and conducting interviews. You will explain and sell open positions to qualified candidates. Ultimately, we want a recruiter who has the skills to assist Sunbelt Xpress in meeting staffing requirements for all trucks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
- Consult with managers/dispatchers to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives at all terminals
- Write and post job descriptions on career websites, and job boards
- Source candidates by using databases and social media
- Contact new employees and prepare onboarding sessions
- Stay up to date with current recruiting methods
- Establishes and maintains positive working relationships to meet or exceed expectations
- Works closely with Safety Dept through the qualification and orientation process
- Communicates with job applicants regarding employment and application status
- Recommends updates to current company employment package and hiring process as needed
