Doman Lumber's Carrollton, TX location is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Lumber Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a valid CDL license and have experience operating a Moffett for loading and unloading lumber and building materials. This position is critical to ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials to our customers while maintaining excellent service and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a CDL truck to transport lumber and building materials to job sites and customer locations.
• Load and unload materials using a moffett in a safe and efficient manner.
• Verify orders for accuracy before leaving the yard and upon delivery.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Secure loads according to DOT and company safety standards.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and electronic records as required.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class A or B license required.
• Moffett (piggyback forklift) experience required.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT drug/alcohol screening.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of commercial driving experience (preferred in building materials or construction supply).
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 80 lbs).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
