Class A CDL Truck Driver

SUMMARY OF POSITION: 

The Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting as well as loading and unloading material and equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Hauling materials in and out of job sites
2. Taking materials to the dump
3. Moving machinery from job site to job site
4. Review load list and visually check skids, carts and pallets to be loaded
5. Determine trailer space versus material to be loaded for proper load distribution
6. Load and unload trucks and check weight
7. Secure load to prevent damage and shifting
8. Upon completion of loading, distribute all necessary paperwork
9. Ability to safely and efficiently operate and upkeep minimal maintenance on all equipment
10. Upholds to all safety standards, at all times
11. All other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must be 21 years of age
2. Have a valid Class A CDL
3. Must have a valid DOT medical card
4. Experience operating 18-speed transmissions preferred
5. Must be able to operate a CMV with a manual transmission
6. Must have experience hauling and operating track loaders and excavators
7. Must have experience operating heavy loaders
8. Must have a clean driving record
