About the role:
Β Silver Creek Materials is seeking a dependable CDL Driver and Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our growing team. This role combines local delivery driving with in-office and on-site customer support. Ideal for someone who enjoys both being on the road and engaging directly with customers in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Β
What you'll do:
- Driving and Delivery
- Safely transport bulk and bagged materials to residential and commercial customers.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and operational safety.
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment (including donkey forklift, when applicable).
- Customer Service and Dispatch
- Provide friendly, professional service to walk-in and phone customers
- Assist in the dispatch office with order entry, truck routing, and scheduling
- Accurately process sales transactions and maintain up-to-date delivery records
- Operations Support
- Collaborate with yard and retail team to ensure efficient product flow and inventory accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and vehicles
- Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations
Qualifications & Skills:
- Required
- Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR
- Experience operating end dump and flatbed 18-wheelers
- Ability to operate smaller delivery vehicles and back into tight spaces
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work Saturdays and extended hours during peak seasons
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred
- Donkey forklift or similar equipment experience
- Dispatch or logistics coordination experience
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills
