Under the direction of the Warehouse Worker/Truck Driver, drives Salvation Army owned vehicles; loading and unloading pickups and/or deliveries of material, donated or otherwise; to serve production needs of the warehouse; assists with the maintenance of all Salvation Army fleet vehicles.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to meet attendance requirements.
Ability to read, write and communicate the English language effectively.
Ability to read and follow a map and/or hand-written directions.
Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing.
Ability to drive a box truck safely and in compliance with laws, policies, and regulations.
Duties require frequent periods of physical mobility including but not limited to standing, walking, climbing, bending, squatting, and lifting. Physical duties may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of sitting.
Extensive amount of physical effort required associated with lifting, moving, and carrying very heavy objects (up to 100 lbs.) frequently.
Working Conditions:
Work requires daily exposure to the outdoors where there are physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, heat or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED preferred,
One year prior warehouse experience preferred,
Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
