Summary:
The laundry truck driver is responsible for picking up soiled linen and delivering clean linen to the Goodwill laundry accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Observe all safety practices and operate laundry vehicles per Florida State Law.
• Deliver and pick up soiled and clean processed linen.
• Inspect and report any unsafe or damaged condition of company vehicles to laundry management.
• Keep laundry vehicles fueled as necessary.
• Maintain and update company delivery logs, truck security seals, and DOT-required documentation.
• Enter receiving and delivery data manually or into the receiving PC keyboard.
• Keep the truck cab clean and disinfect the rear box with the provided chemicals after each soiled linen pickup.
Education and Experience:
• Florida Operators License Class B.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Able to stand and walk for extended periods. Able to lift and carry over 25 pounds.
Able to push, pull, and move laundry carts on wheels containing clean or soiled linen up to 600 pounds on a flat and slightly inclined surface.
Work Environment:
The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, especially using lift gates on trucks. Noise levels are usually moderate.
