We are seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver at our Allmine Trucking facility in Inwood, West Virginia. The driver in this position will drive a diesel-powered tractor tanker trailer combination to transport and deliver asphalt products and raw materials.
Essential Job Functions

- Drive a truck to its destination in a safe and legal manner daily.
- Inspect the truck for mechanical and/or safety defects before, during and after trips and submit reports indicating truck condition. Report any deficiencies to supervisor immediately.
- Maintain and complete driver logs and other required paperwork according to DOT regulations.
- Safely pull tank trailers with elevated temperature material through highly congested traffic areas.
- Carefully load and unload elevated temperature material while wearing PPE.
- Add fluids and replace light bulbs on the semi-tractor as required.
- Maintain the plant, buildings, equipment, and surrounding areas in a clean, safe, and organized manner, performing general cleanup, maintenance, and other facility duties as required when not driving.
- Perform all required safety, environmental and maintenance inspections.
- Operate forklift as required when not operating semi-tractor.
- Act as a first responder during plant emergencies.
Requirements
- Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements (“N” and “H”; or “X”).
- Ability to drive a standard transmission
- Successfully pass a DOT physical.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- At least 1-year related experience.
- Complete first aid and CPR training.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to position himself/herself to operate, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and/or maintain heavy plant equipment. This may require climbing stairs/ladders, bending, kneeling, crawling, squatting and/or stooping. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and may occasionally lift or move heavier objects with assistance.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work around moving mechanical parts, at elevated heights, where dusts and fumes could be present in the air, with or in proximity to chemicals, in hot environments, around electrical equipment, and in a loud environment. The employee must have the ability to understand and mitigate these and other risks, including by following all prescribed safety rules, and must have the ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, if necessary.
