Operate and drive commercial vehicles, including trucks and semi-trailers, in a safe manner.
Efficiently transport incoming and outgoing shipments.
Safely unload, load, and secure equipment on truck ensuring secure placement and compliance with weight distribution guidelines.
Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe and compliant driving record.
Operate skid loader and other equipment within the yard.
Perform routine inspection on equipment, report any malfunctions or damage.
Preserve a safe, clean, and organized workspace environment.
Provide friendly, professional, and informative interaction with clients, and address concerns and issues promptly and effectively.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards.
All other duties and tasks assigned by management.
This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 20 pounds regularly.
Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, stooping, and bending.
Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in person and via documentation.
Ability to operate equipment safely and effectively.
Adaptability in various weather conditions and road challenges.
*Class A or B CDL preferred.
