Job Description
SUMMARY:
Directly responsible for the timely and safe transport of food, alcohol, equipment, and all necessary supplies to various catering locations on the University campus; and often sets up, facilitates, and cleans up coffee breaks, luncheons, and assigned events on campus, as needed.

- Excellent collaboration and team building skills
- Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities
- Proficient in English written and verbal communication skills
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills
- Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Friendly and service-oriented
- Basic knowledge of safe food handling practices
- Ability to use a computer with general knowledge of Microsoft software, to learn new software and the ability to use food production software
- Valid Virginia Driver's License with driving record in good standing, upon hire

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Ā
- H.S. diploma or GED required
- 2 years of driving experience with light or heavy delivery trucks required; and
- Less than 2 years 1 year+ in foodservice, culinary science, and banquet set
up preferred
WORK HOURS:
Full Time, Non-Exempt
Sunday - Saturday, weekends needed, dates and times vary
SALARY STRUCTURE:
Pay Grade 3 (Hiring Range $18.57 to $19.75 per hour)
