Test Truck Runner-Class A

160 Driving Academy is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Test Truck Runner to transport our test truck to Department of Vehicle Services (DVS) locations for student CDL testing. This position plays a vital role in supporting our students on test day by ensuring the vehicle is ready, required documents are in order, and the student is confident and prepared.

This is a Monday–Friday position with start and end times that may vary depending on testing schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the test truck
   
• Verify all necessary documentation is present and accurate in the vehicle
   
• Escort and assist students during the check-in process at the DVS site
   
• Answer last-minute questions and help students feel confident and prepared
   
• Review key DVS expectations for Pre-Trip, Skills, and Road Tests
   
• Communicate test outcomes promptly to school staff

• Must hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License 
• Possess a current D.O.T. medical card 
• Pass a urine drug screen 
• Maintain a clean motor vehicle record 
• Have a minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience
