SUMMARY OF POSITION 

Kinsley is seeking experienced Tri-Axle Drivers to join our growing team. Based out of our Hagerstown, MD office, the driver is responsible for hauling loose construction materials such as dirt, rocks, gravel, blacktop materials, and other aggregates from one location to another. Previous experience driving a triaxle is preferred but not required. Successful candidates should possess a valid CDL Class A or B driver’s license, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude. 

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Drive truck equipped with dump bed, hauling loose construction materials from one location to another as directed.
• Secure loads according to state and federal regulations.
• Comply with all federal and state commercial driving rules and regulations.
• Follow schedule for pickups and deliveries of materials.
• Spray truck surfaces with protective compound to prevent adhering of certain materials.
• Keep truck clean and in good working order, including the truck bed.
• Ensure adherence to safe work practices and procedures.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.

REQUIREMENTS 

• Commercial Driver’s License Class A or B
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience driving a tri-axle truck is required
• Must have and maintain a clean driving record (MVR)
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol testing
• Understand and follow oral and written instructions
