Description

  • Operate heavy-duty trucks (end dump, belly dump, or similar) to haul sand, rock, and other construction materials.
  • Load and unload materials in a safe and efficient manner, following site-specific procedures.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs or safety concerns immediately.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and hours of service.
  • Comply with DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
  • Navigate to job sites using GPS and/or route instructions provided by dispatch.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, site personnel, and supervisors regarding delivery schedules and changes.
  • Keep truck clean and in good working condition.

Qualifications

  • Valid CDL (Class A or B, depending on vehicle used).
  • Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
  • Experience hauling sand, gravel, or rock a strong plus.
  • Clean MVR and current DOT medical card.
  • Strong understanding of DOT regulations and truck safety.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission (if applicable).
  • Ability to sit, drive, and operate a truck for extended periods.
  • Capable of climbing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working outdoors in varying weather.
  • Must be able to perform minor vehicle checks and maintenance tasks (e.g., checking fluid levels, tire pressure).
  • Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
