We are currently seeking a dependable and safety-focused Concrete Truck Driver to join our team. This is a local driving position with minimal travel distance and home daily schedule.
Job Summary:
As a Concrete Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of ready-mix concrete to job sites across the region. You’ll play a key role in ensuring projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive a front or rear discharge concrete mixer truck to deliver concrete to various job sites.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Ensure proper loading, mixing, and unloading of concrete.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance as required by company and DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service on job sites.
- Assist with minor truck maintenance as needed.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with air brake endorsement.
- Clean MVR and background record.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in concrete delivery or construction driving preferred.
