Ideal Class A - CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating multiple multi-axis CNC Lathe Machines. Must be able to perform in-progress inspections and make any off-set changes as required to ensure an acceptable first piece.
Requirements
- 5 years experience working and setting up CNC Lathe, Multi Axis machines preferred.
- Well-versed in performing visual, in-progress inspections and prototype inspections
- Able to use all mechanical inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gages
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Excellent shop math skills
- Must be able to change any tools required during a production run
- Knowledge of G-Codes
- Able to set-up and make necessary adjustments for a new job orders
- Must be very detailed oriented, organized, have good communication skills and be a team player
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Additional CNC educational training is desirable but not required
