Class A Lead Driver

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and safety-focused Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations and ensure the highest standards of safety, customer service, and cost control. In this role, you will manage a team of drivers, complete Lead Driver duties, and ensure full compliance with state and federal regulations. You will coordinate staffing needs, train new and existing drivers, monitor performance, and maintain equipment safety.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize safety and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Oversee daily operations and assign trips to drivers.
• Train drivers on company policies and ensure compliance.
• Act as the main contact for the terminal and communicate with other departments.
• Conduct inspections and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Collaborate with maintenance and recruiting teams as needed.
• Organize driver meetings and ensure facilities are safe and clean.
• Monitor performance and provide guidance to subordinates.

 

TCI Requirements:

• Minimum 12 months of Class A experience within the last 2 years 
• Satisfactory Employment Verifications for the past 3 years.
• Satisfactory Driving Record subject to TCI's Safety Insurance Criteria
