A Plus Tree is seeking a Class A Driver to join our Hayward, CA crew. This role combines driving and tree care support. You will safely operate company trucks and equipment, transport crews and materials to and from job sites, and assist with ground operations on the tree crew. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both driving and hands-on outdoor work.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding and carrying out verbal and written instructions.
- Assisting with tree removals, pruning, and debris disposals.
- Learning techniques and the proper use of tools from senior or more experienced crew members.
- Safely using tools and equipment like chippers and chainsaws to carry out maintenance tasks.
- Using the appropriate gear and observing safety protocols.
- Reporting any issues or safety hazards to the Foreman or other relevant parties.
- Maintain a positive, cooperative attitude with team members and supervisors.
- Support team goals by contributing to all tasks required, including ground work and clean-up as needed.
- Prioritize safety and comply with all company safety standards and procedures.
- Communicate effectively and escalate concerns through appropriate channels.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Valid Class A license.
- Drivers must have a clean record.
- three years of consistent driving experience.
- Any major violations within 60 months will not be accepted.
- Passionate about tree work, service, and people.

- Outdoor enthusiast! You will be working outdoors, come rain or shine.
- Hard-working, reliable, honest, and able to report for work regularly and punctually.

- Ability to lift 75 or more pounds.
- Must be 21 years old.
