Yard Jockey – Distribution Yard
Schedule: Saturday - Monday, 6 PM - 6 AM (Extra hours available)
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Move trailers in and out of docks using yard goats
- Perform yard audits at end of shift
- Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and submit reports
- Follow safety guidelines for yard operations
- Drop and hook trailers as needed
- Use the Yard Management System (YMS) to request and complete trailer moves
- No off-site trailer moves – all work is within the customer's yard
Requirements:
- Team player with strong attention to detail
- Ability to read and follow safety rules and procedures
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced yard environment
