CDL A Local Yard Driver

Drivers 1st is hiring experienced CDL A drivers for a steady yard driver position based in Richmond, VA. This is a local, solo, night shift opportunity with daily home time and no-touch freight. Drivers will move trailers within a 10-mile radius between local plants using Ottawa 53' dry van trailers. Shift begins at 3:00 PM and may vary slightly by business needs, with occasional Saturday and rare Sunday shifts.

• $25 per hour
• 40 hours per week
• $52,000 average yearly pay

- Home Time & Routes:

• Home every night
• Local drop and hook (15%)
• 100% no-touch freight
• 0% live load/unload
• Route radius: Within 10 miles from yard to plant (Richmond, VA)
• Shift starts at 1500 (3:00 PM)

- Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of OTR experience
