Box Truck Driver (18-Foot Truck)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and responsible Box Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in driving an 18-foot box van, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to communicate in basic to intermediate English. This position involves local and regional deliveries and requires a strong sense of safety, punctuality, and responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an 18-foot box van for local and regional deliveries
• Load and unload goods as needed
• Ensure cargo is secured properly during transportation
• Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently
• Perform basic vehicle inspections before and after trips
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
• Communicate with dispatch and customers in English
• Comply with all traffic laws and company safety policies

Requirements

• Valid U.S. driver’s license (CDL not required, unless otherwise specified)
• Proven experience driving an 18-foot box truck
• Ability to speak and understand English for work communication
• Clean driving record preferred
• Physically able to lift and move packages when necessary
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

• Prior experience in delivery, logistics, or warehouse operations
• Familiarity with GPS/navigation apps
• Experience driving in New Jersey / New York / regional routes
