Truck Driver / Yard Utilities

Forest products Truck Drivers / Utility Operators will be expected to operate the Company equipment in a safe, efficient and productive manner according to J.D. Irving, Limited's Best Management Practices (BMPs).  The truck driver will be required to maintain maintenance and repairs as required.

• Operate Company equipment in a safe, efficient and productive manner according to company Best Management Practices
• Operate the yard bucket loader, grader, plow truck, dump truck, water truck, backhoe, and skid steer
• Move trailers of residuals
• Move trailer for Bagger House
• Lawn mowing, weed whacking, and other yard housekeeping duties
• Assisting yard forklifts 
• Settling pond and catch basing protection duties
• Will be entered into the random drug test pool
• Work proactively without direction whenever possible
• Maintain up to date skills qualifications and SOP's
• Recognize and solve daily operation problems, and report to and take direction from the Utilities Yard Crew Supervision 

• Valid Class 1 drivers license
• General truck mechanical skills will be considered and asset
• Must be legally entitled to transport goods to the U.S. and Canada
