For the last 50 years, it has been dedicated to the principles and standards of Thoroughbred and Standardbred horse breeding/training/racing. Position Summaries:

The Horse Truck Driver is responsible for transporting the horses.

Your Role:

• Transport horses safely between farms, races, and/or other equine events.
• Load and unload horses in a safe manner
• Hook the trailer to the truck
• Accurately maintain a logbook
• Ensure the truck is well-maintained and clean
• Report incidents to the manager
• Assist with general stud duties
• Day and overnight trips to other farms and training when necessary.
• Maintains reasonable, regular, and punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards.
• Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs

Your Skills:

• Transporting horses with experience preferred
• Multi-tasking abilities
• Good oral communication and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Card
• Have a good attitude and participate as a member of the team.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
