Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and professional Class A Tractor Trailer Truck Driver to join our team! In this role, you will transport scrap metals from one location to another or back to our yard via a dump trailer, van trailer etc. You will plan the most efficient route, ensure adherence to delivery schedules, and perform routine vehicle pre-trip inspections and preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate has experience driving both Class A and B trucks and makes safety a number one priority!
Responsibilities
- Pick up scrap metal in one location and transport to another location.
- Perform routine pre-trip safety inspections and preventative maintenance
- Plan the safest and most efficient routes of travel
- Adhere to delivery schedules
- Comply with all company policies and driving laws
Qualifications
- 1-2 YEARS TRUCK DRIVING EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- Familiarity with GPS systems, CB radios, and work pad technology
- Understanding of all relevant truck driving laws and regulations
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug/alcohol screening
- Must have experience in ALL types of trailers like lowboy, drop deck, dump trailers, flatbeds, van trailers, etc.
- MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE MANUAL TRANSMISSION
Compensation: $25.00 per hour

Scrap metal recycling company located in Stockertown, PA. ♻️ We purchase ALL grades of scrap metals to be reprocessed in our yard and then resold / repurposed to steel mills/foundries all around the globe. We also own and operate our own fleet of trucks, trailers and roll-off dumpster trucks to help your business/job site move your scrap metal safely back to our yard for processing.
