Class A CDL Heavy Haul Driver (OTR)

Triple 8 Express is currently seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers for our Heavy Haul and Oversize division. We operate all 48 states with a fleet of modern, fast equipment. If you have open deck experience and are looking for a high-revenue contract position, we want to hear from you.

THE PAY (1099 Contract)

• Weekly Gross: $3,000 - $3,750 per week average.
• Percentage Pay: You earn 25% of the load's gross revenue ($12k-$15k weekly truck gross).
• Payment: Paid weekly via Direct Deposit. Statements issued Thursday, funds available Friday.
• Escrow: $2,500 total (Taken out in small increments of $250 over 10 weeks).

THE EQUIPMENT

• Trucks: 2022 and newer Freightliner and Volvos.
• Amenities: All units come with Fridges and either Inverters or APUs.
• Speed: Trucks are governed at 72 MPH (pedal) / 70 MPH (cruise).
• Freight: Heavy and oversized loads (Construction equipment, tractors, bulldozers, generators, etc.).

THE POSITION

• Running Area: Over-the-Road (OTR) across all 48 Continental United States.
• Home Time: 4 weeks out, 1 week home.
• Travel Benefit: We fly you home for your 1 week of home time.
• Orientation: 2-day orientation in Streamwood, IL.
• Day 1: Indoors (Paperwork, drug screen).
• Day 2: Outdoors (Equipment overview & training).

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of Class A driving experience.
• Trailer Experience: Must have Flatbed, Step Deck, or Open Deck experience.
• Safety: Must have a clean Clearinghouse (No SAP drivers).
• Hiring Area: We are hiring drivers from anywhere in the continental US.
