Ready for home weekly resets? Albany Trucking is hiring experienced CDL A truck drivers for our dedicated Virginia and West Virginia delivery routes. This opportunity offers consistent home weekly time, predictable no touch freight, and the chance to build a routine that works for your life. With a $2,500 sign-on bonus and weekly pay of $1,450 to $1,475, this dedicated position delivers both the stability and earnings that experienced drivers deserve.
Freight
You'll be running dedicated deliveries throughout Virginia and West Virginia. This dedicated route averages 4 loads per week covering approximately 2,000 miles. Each load averages 490 miles, so you're looking at manageable runs that keep you in familiar territory. The freight is a mix of drop-and-hook and live unloads using a powered pallet jack - no heavy lifting required.
Schedule
This dedicated position operates 7 days a week with primarily overnight runs. You'll work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of your scheduled workweek. Holiday weeks are mandatory, including the week prior. The best part? You get home weekly for a full 34-hour reset. If you live within 30 miles of the distribution center, you may even be able to take your daily 10-hour breaks at home.
Route
Your dedicated territory covers Virginia and West Virginia, with backhauls typically routing through Indianapolis.
Equipment
Albany Trucking provides 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth trucks equipped with 1200-1500 watt inverters. You'll be assigned a sleeper truck for this dedicated route, and while you can't choose the specific model, all equipment is well-maintained and road-ready.
Benefits
Medical, dental, and vision coverage through BlueCross BlueShield starts after just 30 days. Our 401K with Fidelity includes 4% company matching after 6 months. Paid vacation starts at one week after your first year and increases to four weeks after 15 years. We're also pet-friendly – one pet allowed with no breed or weight restrictions for a $500 non-refundable fee.
Qualifications
You must have a valid CDL A license, live within our hiring area, and be comfortable with this dedicated home weekly schedule. Sometimes you'll use a powered pallet jack for unloads (we provide training), but no heavy manual labor is required.
Our Onboarding Process: We carefully review all submissions and contact candidates who meet our requirements to discuss available opportunities. At Albany Trucking, we treat every applicant with fairness and respect throughout the hiring process.
