**Regional CDL-A Truck Driver Position Overview**

This position seeks to recruit dependable CDL-A truck drivers for regional runs, offering a unique combination of steady miles, weekly pay, and no-touch freight. The selected candidate will be responsible for operating a tractor-trailer to transport goods safely and efficiently over regional routes.

**Key Features of the Position:**

* Consistent routes and on-time weekly pay

* Late-model, well-maintained trucks with the latest safety features

* No-touch freight, allowing drivers to focus on driving without loading or unloading responsibilities

* Home time: weekly 34 hours restarts, with loads that keep drivers within 400 miles of home

* Pay details:

+ Average weekly gross: $1,100 - $1,500

+ Stop pay: $15.00 per mile

+ Short haul pay: $40 for loads under 51 miles

+ Average weekly miles: 1,600-2,000

**Geographic Scope:**

* Runs will take place in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, and Illinois

* Loads will keep drivers within 400 miles of home

**Requirements:**

* Valid CDL Class A License

* Valid Medical Card

* 6 months of OTR/Regional Tractor-Trailer Experience (fresh graduates with CDL-A license also eligible)

* Clean driving record

* Ability to pass a urine and hair drug screen

* No major accidents

* No SAP (Substance Abuse Program) history

**Responsibilities:**

* Operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods safely and efficiently over regional routes

* Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations

* Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts and other equipment as necessary

* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and compliance

* Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays

* Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and cargo transported
