Specialty Coating & Laminating has an immediate opening for an experienced Home Daily Local Class A DOT Truck Driver. This individual will be required to drive a Clamp Truck to help with Shipping & Receiving.
What you're day may look like -
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS-
· Transport finished goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing plants
· Collect, complete, and verify paperwork for accuracy
· Verify loads for accuracy, and deliver as instructed
· Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues, and perform preventative maintenance
· Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
· Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
· Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures
· Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
· Assist production team members with loading and unloading
· Report defects, accidents, or violations
· Complete necessary training and proficiently and safely operate a Clamp Truck
· At least 21 years of age
· Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL-A) with Tanker endorsement
· Current DOT Medical Card
· Good driving record (MVR Requested)
· Submit a criminal background check
· Pass a DOT Drug Screen (pre-screen)
· Clear Drug/Alcohol Clearinghouse
· Ability to perform preventative maintenance on the trucks (greasing and cleaning)
· Keep the truck clean and presentable at all times
