                                                       Job Summary 

Quillen College of Medicine – Campus

The Quillen College of Medicine Campus is seeking a Truck Driver to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting items between various locations. Duties include loading and unloading mail, equipment, supplies, and furniture. If you enjoy driving and thrive in a dynamic environment, this is an excellent opportunity to support the smooth operations of our college.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

  • Knowledge of the geographic area of the campus and the Tri-City area.
  • Knowledge of moving equipment and furniture to minimize damage.
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
  • Ability to plan and organize work routines.
  • Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with the public and employees.
  • Ability to handle diversified duties.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Ability to get along with others.

Required Qualifications 

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must be proficient in operating forklifts and pallet jacks/lifts.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.

Compensation & Benefits 

  • Job Family: Facilities Services – Buildings and Grounds Assistant 1
  • Salary: $15.00 per hour
