Dynamic Logistic Solutions (“DLS”) is seeking qualified independent owner-operators who own or lawfully control commercial transportation equipment and wish to operate under DLS's applicable operating authority through a written lease-on arrangement.
The Owner-Operator will provide professional transportation services while maintaining responsibility for the safe operation, condition, and legal use of their equipment. All operations conducted under DLS authority must comply with applicable FMCSA, DOT, state, insurance, safety, and DLS compliance requirements.
This position is intended for experienced transportation professionals who want to operate their own equipment while utilizing the compliance, operational, dispatch, insurance, fuel, and business-support services available through the DLS program.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Owner-Operator is responsible for:
- Safely transporting freight in accordance with customer and DLS requirements.
- Maintaining a valid CDL when required for the equipment being operated.
- Maintaining all required endorsements and medical qualifications.
- Complying with FMCSA, DOT, state, local, and other applicable transportation regulations.
- Maintaining accurate Hours-of-Service records through the approved ELD when required.
- Completing required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintaining equipment in safe and DOT-compliant operating condition.
- Immediately reporting accidents, citations, roadside inspections, cargo claims, equipment failures, and safety incidents to DLS.
- Protecting cargo from loss, theft, contamination, and damage.
- Maintaining communication with dispatch and operations while under load.
- Providing timely pickup, transit, and delivery status updates.
- Obtaining and submitting BOLs, PODs, scale tickets, receipts, inspection reports, and other required documentation.
- Following shipper, receiver, facility, port, terminal, and customer safety requirements.
- Complying with DLS drug-and-alcohol, driver qualification, safety, insurance, ELD, and compliance requirements when applicable.
- Immediately reporting any change affecting the Owner-Operator's CDL, medical certification, driving privileges, equipment registration, insurance eligibility, or ability to legally operate.
