ProRental and Sales (a division of REIC, one of the fastest growing rental companies) based in Hermiston, is hiring an experienced Local Class A CDL Driver to the deliver designated equipment as assigned and ensuring the operator is familiar with delivered equipment. Schedule M-F (no overnights and rare weekends).

Who we are

As a Local Class A CDL Driver, you will deliver heavy equipment to customer sites in OR and WA state. you will be delivering designated equipment as assigned and Our CDL drivers oversee the safe loading/unloading of equipment, ensure the operator is familiar with delivered equipment and record/report the working condition of delivered and retrieved equipment, keep a clean truck with current daily and weekly inspections, and monitor and schedule annual and DOT inspections as required.

A typical day may include:

  • Ensuring pre-trip and post-trip inspections are conducted and documented
  • Observing and reporting mechanical and safety failures
  • Maintaining vehicle appearance by cleaning and washing
  • Maintain all required certification, inspections, and medical compliance

Top candidates will have:

  • Valid Class A CDL Driver's License is required with manual transmission experience
  • Minimum two (2) years of driving experience REQUIRED
  • Experience in construction is preferred
  • Commit to a drug-free workplace
  • Driving record violation-free for previous three years to include no record of any of the following violations:
    • Driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance
    • Leaving the scene of an accident
    • Committing a felony with a motor vehicle
    • Reckless driving Excessive speed

Physical demands

  • Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time and the ability to perform tasks such as walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling and reaching.
  • Ability to lift 70 pounds for short periods, often several times per day
  • % of workday performing, but not limited to:
    • Standing 10%
    • Walking 10%
    • Sitting 80%

This position is classified as nonexempt.
